Been bottle hunting a few months now and have had a lot of fun. Have learned a lot. Definitely was surprised when I found this bottle with a "punt". Don't know much but I guess that means it could be an old wine bottle maybe? Any help would be much appreciated. Happy hunting everyone

Ya I haven't found any markings yet, but maybe after I clean it something will pop up. Any time frame estimates?

it is a common wine , 1890s to 1912 . post mold , turn mold , they were made by the thousands and still are . but now there machine made. not very collectable I'm afraid.

Thanks so much for your reply. Although it's not worth much I'm thrilled to have found a bottle that old. I have a honey hole and I have found some 1930s bottles but this would be my oldest so far. Thanks again.
