Someone sent this to me at my site asking for value. It had an old note in it saying it is very rare. Anyone have a clue?

Lafayette / DeWitt Clinton flask (McKearin mold number G1-80) blown at the Coventry Glass Works, Coventry, CT, circa 1824-1825 to commemorate the General Lafayette visit to the US. These are good hoistorical flasks and highly desirable.

The prices can vary considerably based upon condition, color and impression. Yours looks to be in generally good condition other than some high point wear, color is common, and mold impression is just good. I think Lobey is right on with the value, $1500-2000. Great examples can bring upwards of $3000 or more. Condition is very important, even the high point wear can detract from the value.
