I was wondering what is the most amount of bottles some of yall have dug up in just one or two days.

Years ago it was typical to dig at least 100 whole bottles, with about 10 percent being keepers, on a good dump.

well i usally look in a riverbed so i dont have a lot of time to look before the tide comes in. so i find about 5-10. (i already got alot of them[:mad:])

5 - 40 gallon garbage cans full , from 4 privys on one lot in town. most keepers
300- from a opened 1890-1920 city dump.

To many to count from a dump we called the Coyl St glass lot. Dug it for 2 years and anywhere you dug you would pull out literally hundreds of unembossed food and med bottles amoung other things. 1870 to mid 1920s

I know someone on here pulled over 1000 out of one privy, but I forget the exact number. Doug? About 50 is the most I've ever pulled out of one. Probably around 80 or so for a dump.

I've never really counted, and I don't do all day digs anymore. About 2 hours of dump digging and I'm exausted. I guess that's because when I'm digging I'm going at it at full speed . Here's a pic of a two day dig ( about 3 hours digging).

Almost 800 from that 22 footer 600 where unembossed meds form 1860s and 70s the lady was a (healer) she made meds, probable some good chit too hahaha! now days If I get one good one its a good day for me[;)]. Rick
