I know it's in it's infancy but after looking in there it seems like a waste of time and energy for a bottle site, it could have just remained part of the unexpected discoveries and been fine IMHO....just an observation, so if you're looking to find an arguement I'm not gonna bite [8D]

Jim, the "waste of time and energy" you're concerned with is really not an issue.. now there's a place members can visit and talk about marbles in particular. It does not require any additional energy to maintain this category, it's just another option on your screen.

I havent ever dug up any special swirl marbles or anything fancy, but I have dug up lots of the crockery marbles or whatever those are called. They just made the marbles from left over clay and such from crocks and pottery.

I like the idea of a Marble section. Marbles are something I have always wanted to know more about. There was a resent post started by Clam that was very informative and fun to look at too.

I don't disagree CM but with the amonut of traffic it gets it just seems like it could have stayed in Unexpected or General Chat....I like and own marbles myself[]
