Medicine bottle from the 60's, or worthless bottle from the late 70s or 80s?

How do I figure out what the bottles were and the date they were made. I don't have a clue as to dating these types of bottles. I don't think they made these brown glass bottles after the 1970s though.

Do you have a picture of the base that you can post? It might have clues to maker and/or age.

Give me a bit. I left it in the woods where I found it, since I am not sure of its value. I'll go take a pic of the bottom of it.
