Amber quart applied lip blobs are not an every day affair, but the key to value in this case is whether or not anyone collects Syracuse.. if it were from a town I collect, I'd drop $100 on it in a heartbeat, even in that condition..

What if you already had 10 of them? [8|]

...and yes Eric, that's the other part of the value equation, how rare it is.. that one looks a bit early to be common. Quart amber applied lip blobs, like I said earlier, are not an everyday affair.. maybe more so in some regions, but I have yet to even hear of an amber quart embossed blob from any of the NJ shore towns, including Long Branch and Red Bank.. so..

That's a nice bottle. I don't collect them but I've always like the larger sizes. Aren't the large ones also referred to as "Picnics" ?

Most often the Picnics were 1/2 gallons... but you do find a few quarts referred to as picnics as well.

More common in aqua, I've sold the amber quarts in the past anywheres from 25 to 40+ depending on condition. The higher prices are usually obtained from Clyde Glass Works collectors looking for an example to add to their collection.
