The bottle has a small worn embossed name. Hard to tell what it says. On the back it shows eight ounces . On the bottom it says 4 and circled B. Any ideas. Thank you.

Take a rubbing of the name. Lay a piece of paper over it and rub it with a pencil. If it's not too bad you should be able to tell the name. That will help alot to ID it.

Hello, there is actually no words on this bottle but a picture of a dog sitting upright looking like he is begging for food. I have dug a couple of these in the past so I can tell by the pictures what it is. You can see its two feet at the bottom, its curled tail and its two front paws are sticking out. Does the bottle has a small slit in the lip where you would pour the medicine out of?

I agree with Woody that this is most likely a nursing or baby bottle, from description I would guess 1910-1930 possibly. You mentioned 8 oz markings on back that is the most common size for baby bottles.
