I got lucky and got this, what I think, is the earliest Utah oil can yesterday. From either 1908 when the company was founded or 1909 when it was sold to UTOCO. This may be the only known example! I had goose bumps for an hour!

Wow, that's very cool! Not easy to find cans in that good shape from that era regardless of what they are, especially oil cans.

Thanks and I agree. Did you notice the reflective dots inside of the DUCK-BACK lettering? That’s something I’ve never seen on any can.

I didn't notice that, that's very interesting! I've never seen that either, looks like it'd be expensive to produce a label like that.
