CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW OLD THESE BOTTLES ARE.AND WHAT KIND OF FOOD WAS HELD IN THE LITTLE JAR IT HAS HANDI WRITTEN ON THE FRONT OF IT WITH A L SHAPED RULER ON THE BOTTOM IT HAS 2 LARGE SS AND ABOVE THE SS IS HAS A 5 ABD UNDER NIETH THE SS IT HAS REC.U.S. PAT. 63 9 151 THE LID WAS RED WHITE AND BLUE JUST COULD NOT I KINDA MESSED UP THE LID WHEN I WAS DIGGING IT UP.
I KNOW THE OTHER IS A LIQUOR BOTTLE JUST DONT KNOW THE YEAR

Hi Gracie and welcome to the forum!
I was happy to see your liquor bottle because I picked up one just like it recently along a creek in S.C.!
I knew it was a newer bottle and thought it probably was dropped there last Saturday night but I just loved it! There's no indication what was in it but isn't it pretty?!!
The age, origin is interesting but really we collect what strikes our fancy don't we?
Thats really what matters!!

Well, it's not worth much, if anything, but what's important is whether or not you like it! I like those decorativly embossed flasks, and have a few myself from the 50s that I dug out of some local woods!
