Hello! This old amber-colored poison bottle won't stand upright because the base is not level! My question is -- Was this bottle intentionally made this way for some purpose, or did it somehow become misshapen along the way? The bottle basically has 3 sides....two sides are flat and one side is curved. The word POISON is on one side. On the base is 67 and what looks like an F. Three edges of the bottle are knobbed. The bottle is 3 1/2 inches tall and 1 7/8 inches wide. Would appreciate any information! Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! Looks like it's either a manufacturing defect or it got slightly melted in a dump fire. This is one of the more common shapes for poison bottles and they're supposed to be able to stand upright.

Very common KV-1. Though you could make an entire collection out of the different sizes and variations. Some actually do have value. I posted a chart here years ago on this bottle. May still be located somewhere
