Dug a 1850 pontil pit on the hill today, What a day .Its always fun digging pontil bottles even if everything is broken. We call it paying dues. The only full bottle was a Orricks Vermifuge Worm Destroyer from Baltimore. That one was open pontil. Two rare local C Ifland Squats were broken, A Blue sloping collar Superior Mineral Waters from the Union Glass Works Broken What a bummer.A Dyottsville Glass Works in Brown Broken What a bigger bummer.A Wistars Open pontil.and few more broken pontil bottles.Eventually we won't be paying dues.. Enjoy
