Picked this up (actually in the AB&GC) and am very excited to have found it...may not look like much but is a very hard to find New Hampshire bottle...embossed "Stratham Sulphur Springs". This is the first example I have seen...this spring also had a 5 gallon pottery jug and I've seen a few of those but never the bottle. Doesn't look like much but was very excited to add it to my New Hampshire collection!

One of my favorite bottles in my collection is from a bottler that is well known for the logo on their bottles. The bottle I have just has the name, plain and simple, no logo. I like finding those plain jane, rare, hard to find pieces. Sometimes they mean more than the super flashy piece! Cool find.

I know exactly what you mean Brandon, it happens to me frequently and it really has nothing to do with value. I'm very pleased to see continued enthusiasm from you and others about what true collecting is about. Finding something that "Trips Your Trigger", "Floats Your Boat", etc. gets the juices going. Attaboy! Jim

I love these spring water bottles! I collect VA ones and have a couple neat ones myself. Congrats on finding such a great bottle.

Thanks so much for the comments! New Hampshire had a lot of springs but sadly almost none of them bottled the water in the traditional sense. I think a lot of them sold the stuff in barrels. Londonderry Lithia Springs was one of the exceptions as there are bottles from them but they are mostly label only and still quite hard to find. They had some pottery jugs as well. I collect them but it is a small collection!

Recently found a large crate of labeled Londonderry Lithia bottles!
