While in Nevada mapping out the geology in an abandoned coal mine area from the late 1800s I found this in a trash pit outside of one of their main camps. I dont know what it is, it looks like a bottle stopper but Ive never seen one like this before.

looks like an opium vial with the top broken off, but thicker glass for sure.....?????

Wow, very cool, thats so much more awesome than a bottle stopper. So, a Chinese worker probably had that in his pocket. The top isnt broken off, this one is just rounded on the top. But unfortunately it was broken 1/4 of the way down with that big crack.
