CowseatmaizeI wanted to point out I was slightly offended by your comment. I am not really sure what you were trying to say. Maybe you could be more clear. I am not a newbie I have been digging for 40 years. I may not have dug vented bottles or read about venting but I am clear on the process now.I do want to be clear that I did appreciate the professionalism that was extended from cannibalfromhanabalregardlessThanks for your comments

HA! Now THAT'S FUNNY! And Hunter, I wouldn't take anything too personal on this website. We often say/type things we could put into better meaning. Having moved here about 6 years ago from the west, I rarely dug anything older than the 90's, so I had a lot of "catching up" education to figure how old the stuff was I was diggin' here. Plus I was pretty clueless about the glass house marks like A&DHC, McC&Co, etc. as we tended to find mostly PCGW and WT&Co, if marked at all. And I am still learning. I recently bought Digger O'Dell's Privy books. Why I couldn't say; after all, didn't I know all I ever needed to know after 50 years of digging? Well, I learned a few things that were instrumental in my finding some local privies I likely would have missed. Guess I still have more to learn.....Jack
