I was over at the furnace just looking around. The stuff is way too new and burnt and melted. I do actually like some of the slag from it. Not sure what to do with it? This one bottle seemed to come out unburned although scratched. I have never seen one of these before. I find loads of embossed ones. Rheingold Chug-A-Mug Extra Dry Lager Beer, Circa 1963.

Hey RobbyBobby,
Its led a charmed life to find its way to you. :) I believe it may have had a metal pull ring at the closure. Similar to Piel's mini barrel. I haven't had a Rheingold probably since about that time. (Are they still operating?) In any case, congrats on a new keeper.

There were documented issues concerning cuts caused by sharp edges on the pull top.

Sterling had a bottle similar, as did Mickey's Malt, actually two different styles of Mickeys, I own both variants the Mickeys.

I've never seen an acl Chug-A-Mug before, or any other type. Guess I lived a sheltered life. Beautiful ones RoyalRuby.
