Visited a couple antique shops yesterday in the inky dinky don't blink you'll miss it town of Downing. If anyone is close and it interests you, I wish I knew more to help describe them to you, there were bottles everywhere. Marbles, thousands of marbles. Something that caught my eye was a set of...

Question about stoneware jug?

This one isn't it but it's the same style, size, and color. The one I found has a handpainted 2 in blue in the place of this logo. Any info? Thanks in advance, Chris

What is your reason for collecting bottles?

Local history for me. I love my hometown! Don't get me wrong, if it's a neat bottle I'm keeping it regardless of where it's from. I'm a Realtor (don't cringe, it's not as bad as lawyer) and I love being able to go into old houses & businesses and see "what used to be". My first interest was...

Addictive Food Warning

I'm not too sure about the boiled peanuts either, it's the salt that I like. Now those grits are the way to go, butter, pepper and some maple syrup,mmmmmmm. That's good eats!
