    Green Glass stopper or plug?

Kent...It's about 1 1/2 inches across and 3/4 inch tall. I dug it out of a box of bottles that my dad had collected so the age is totally unknown. It does look like a stopper of some sort. I'm pretty close to Smith Glass, Anchor glass, and Bryce glass factories. It could have come from one of them.

    Green Glass stopper or plug?

Here's an odd little thing I found. It looks like a canning jar lid that needs flattened out. Or maybe some kind of stopper?

    surprise in bottle

At least your surprises were good! Last week while going through some more bottles and jars at my mom's I found a mason jar with a "powdered" mouse in the bottom! It took a while to figure out what it was, looked like dirt with feet and a tail! It must have fallen in the jar and couldn't get...

    glass 2 liter pepsi bottle

I've learned so much here! At least now I can go through some of the bottles in Mom's basement and know immediately that they're very common!! LOL I did find a glass 2 liter pepsi with the lid and thought it seemed unusual. Are they uncommon? I didn't take a pic but can if necessary. Thanks!

    Here's the bottom.

    Apothecary jar?

Would this be an apothecary jar? It's about 7" tall and the inside of the opening is ground. It has seams up to the narrow part and a seam around the bottom edge. Also on the bottom are 3 tiny "dots" Probably can't see them in pic but I'll try! [;)]

    Seams fade off toward top

The seams are on the narrow sides. On one of the wide sides there's a bubble. There's nothing on the bottom. The bottom does appear to have been put on separately, there's a seam around the bottom.

    Seams fade off toward top

Here's another pic. The bottle is clear, the room must have been colored! LOL

Thanks BA I have a tall 10 1/2" flat clear bottle that has the same kind of seams.

    Seams fade off toward top

I've tried to get pics of the seam on the beer bottle. The seam ends about 1 inch from the top. There's a 6 on the bottom.
