Apothecary jar?

Would this be an apothecary jar? It's about 7" tall and the inside of the opening is ground. It has seams up to the narrow part and a seam around the bottom edge. Also on the bottom are 3 tiny "dots" Probably can't see them in pic but I'll try! []

I think you may be right. Also might be a chemists jar of some sort.
