I found this beacon? Over the weekend cleaning out house. It's 16" tall and largest diameter of bottom is about 7". Has Coca Cola USA on bottom bowl along with Ml markings. I'm guessing could have been used in a lab or a crazy marketing idea that coke my have been sold in? Thanks in advance...
I found this bottle earlier in the week along an old railroad trail in the central part of SC. Overall close to 10" in height, about 5" at widest point near top. I've cleaned and can't find any markings/embossing on top or bottom. Only a slight evidence of seam that ends near lower part of...
I found this one several months ago with no luck as to the contents, manufacture etc. 6 1/2" in height, 2" base. has a #1 and #16 on the bottom, no other markings I can find. Could this possibly be a milk or cream bottle judging by the top or possibly a soft drink of some type?
This is another I'm curious about. About 6" in height and 2 1/2" across the base. Slight purple tint, only marking is the numbers 784 inside of a diamond and also looks to be a #2 possibly mold number. Any Ideas as to the manufacture or contents.
I found this bottle recently and am wondering about what the contents may have been. Most of the research I found on this company referenced food products. Overall 10" in height and 2 3/4" across the base. The only marking is the Bishop & Company on the bottom and what appears to be a 4 (Mold...
Hello all...found this one digging this past weekend. The embossing is Corry & Co. Belfast. Looks to be about 10oz sized, light aqua color. I don't think its worth much, possibly $5-$10 range. I found a little info on this company online but nothing definate. I'm curious as to exactly what...
Been too long since my last post, but I found this bottle a few weeks ago. It's 9 1/2" in height x 2 3/4" diameter. aqua greenish blue in color. The seam stops just short of the top about 1". Appears to have had a bottle "cap" or possibly cork. The problem I have is there are no markings...
This is an unusual bottle I found earlier today. I at first thought it was a salt or pepper shaker because of it's size, about 4" height. However the cap didn't have any holes as you normally find with shakers. The outside is textured as you can see in the pictures. Only marks on the bottom...
In dating skirted coke bottles, what would the date be on this 6oz size? I have read several articles concerning Coke bottle dating and am a little confused as to year versus cavity number and mold number. Thanks.
Good morning, I have found these pepsi bottles over the past few days and curious as to the date these bottles were manufactured. I'm 47 and remember seeing them in stores as a youngster, but some of those years have become somewhat partly cloudy.... Any help would be appreciated and thanks in...
I Found this digging around the lake over the past weekend. I'm thinking a type of top for a perfume or maybe water or alcohol bottle. It is about 1 1/2" height and 7/8" at the bottom. There are two small "bumps" where it possibly fit and locked. Any ideas? I haven't found anything close in...
I found several of these this morning in 1940's to 50's trash dump. They are 3" round and thick heavy glass. I'm guessing they are old coasters that people at one time used to put under furniture legs to keep from damaging the floors. However the "points" on the bottom side seem to be to...
Found this morning digging at a local goodwill store. I know these type bottles are fairly common, is about 3" tall and 1.5" across, square designed. What I thought was interesting is the silver casing design on the bottom is actually metal, has a few bubbles in the glass. Any idea which...
I know these are not very rare, but I thought I would share some Old Crow bottles I found over the weekend near Columbia, SC. Great addition to my collection. If possible does anyone recognize the bottle in the middle? There is a label on the back but not legible. Found these and others along...
