Found this today at an antique shop and had to have it! I've seen em in peoples galleries before, but now I have one :D And its got quite a stretch on it compared to some I've seen.
Hello once again! We just relocated from South GA to Brevard, NC and I was wondering if we have any bottle hunters anywhere near here or the Asheville or Hendersonville area. Im excited to see what we find up here in the mountains other than some beautiful waterfalls and mountain scenery! Thanks...
Got 2 insulators from a antique store today. One is armstrong no 9 and the other is hemingray 17. Will post pics later. Do they have descent value? I paid about $12 total. . .
Bought my first item w/ the word "poison" on it. A 1944 WWII era 2oz can of gun bore cleaner. A pretty neat little flask shaped can and seems pretty common. Nice war memorabilia though.
Google never gives good descriptions, is this a hutch c1880? http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Antique-WH-Everett-Glass-Bottle-w-Metal-Stoppe-8295961.html
Check it out on e-bay! I'm trying to save up for a cheap metal detector, so maybe this will get me started, lol.

This seller has 2 or 3 different glass bottles listed, most are only .75c w/ $3 shipping, most are bitters and IDK if ALL are reproductions or not. I bought the ball and claw that I'm sure is a repro, but dont know about these others. Can someone check them out? Thanks
Ebay Bitters Bottles
I'm wanting to trade my "Elixir De Guillie" bottle for 4 or 5 medicine/poison bottles. They can be the more common ones, as this is a pretty common french bottle. I will include the print out of the recipe for this elixir as well. I will pay for shipping on my end if you do the same. Though this...
This is a strange looking, un-marked bottle that I bought as a "Potion Bottle" for my 5 year old. The guy said he thinks it may have been a barber toilet water bottle that just didnt make the cut. I'm not sure about it, it has seams down both sides even tho it appears that the bottom was added...
This weekend, july 23rd 2011 at the north florida fairgrounds in tallahassee florida there is a antique, relic, bottles, etc. Show/sale. Its from 9am-3pm.
I have been losing interest in bottle collecting lately, mostly because I only found 1 site that had any bottles, and they all seem to be rubbish. I havent found the first embossed bottle, or even an OLD bottle, and don't really know how to locate other dumps. Another MAJOR issue is that I'm the...
I picked this bottle up today @ a little thrift shop. She had 2, but I only got 1 bc I didnt know any specs on it and I didnt wanna screw myself, not to mention with there being NO bottle collectors here she told me I have a pretty good chance of the other one still being there when I go back. I...
Hey, does anyone have any good ideas on asking a historic home owner if you can find their dump and dig it? Any good excuses as to why? And what are the odds of them saying yes? Just askin. . .
I will first appologize for not having a pic on this post yet. I found a bottle when digging a local dump that is amber in color, has a crown top and appears to be 3 piece mold style, but it looks like it was double blown? IDK but there is 2 seams on each side, just barely offset from each other...
Lookin for someone in north florida or sw ga. I got 1 spot but would like to find more. Haven't dug my spot yet, still gettin bottles out of the creek.
I found these bottles the first time I went digging on the creek, and the one that I am most curious about is the soda bottle that has "LC" on it in 3 different places. I haven't been able to find any company that made "LC" sodas or anything. . .anyone have any ideas? I live in SW GA btw.
