I asked a simple question and I am attacked by everyone. Since this is a secret society, I shall keep my knowledge of over 50 un dug bottle dumps in Maine to my self. Enjoy your new sodas and I shall enjoy finding really old bottles.
Thanks ! Your correct...it was 18 oz. I know where there is one. Looks like a newer one and still had some of the lead foil on the mouth of the bottle.
The chinese are just getting back to us for sending them all those trade dollars that had no silver in them. I found a trade dollar at a Native American village site years ago.
Sounds silly, but I have found several in old stone walls in Conn. The old timers didn't collect relics. But did use the axes for filling in stone walls.
I remember when the Saugatuck Res. was built two fellows contracted TB from the old graves they had to move. So be careful in privies. Some of the viruses lay dorment for ever.
I dug a few dumps in Hazardville CT..sure wish I had saved the bottles... they paid for a new Chevy Monte Carlo.
The dump for the Hazardville Fire Extiguisher Co. was FABULOUS!!!!
I am called an idiot, yet people seem to watch my every comment. I can only reason one thing. These people want a date! No thanks, my better half would object. I was never a teacher. When I found out that the union was giving to the clintons, I quit.
I remember finding a silver dollar while looking for arrowheads. Thought WOW! Until I found out it was meant for the China trade and was worthless. Looks like the whiteman was cheating the Indians.
