River finds. Low water level fun. First river hutch find!!!

I am always delighted by such encounters where a simple piece of "trash" can make someone's day. I am now in California, diving an old sawmill site near the redwoods. I find train parts, bottles, and even clay pipes from England. I need to make a post.

River finds. Low water level fun. First river hutch find!!!

When I lived in Fort Wayne, I was snorkeling in a lake near there and found a bunch of Walter Raupfer beer bottles and happened to meet an old lady online whose Father had owned the business and had the last name on the bottle. She wanted to purchase all she could find so that each grandchild...

19th C. Stoneware Water Dispencer Found During River Hunt

So happy for you as that jug is so lovely. Enjoy displaying it in a special place. I always enjoy finding special things and not buying them as then I have a memory and a story to go with the bottle I have on display. A number of years ago, I was snorkeling in a lake in Indiana and found a clay...

    7up 7oz Anomalies

I am the Director of Albion Field Station in California and when I can I dive for bottles in the river. I have found three bottles with shells from clams inside them that were long dead but the shells are still inside them. The shells are far too large to come out of the bottle so I have them...

Sussex Mineral Springs & Sussex Ginger Ale, New Brunswick, Canada

Some are commenting on the label's damage from people or whatever. I would suspect it is from some kind of invertebrate. I know Silverfish will eat certain types of ink from a paper label and sometimes the paper right through on an exposed document. I used to see it all the time in my father's...

    My A&W Root Beer Collection

My Mum and Dad always took us to get Rootbeer but they would bring their Gallon Jug with the glass embossed Label on it and get it filled/re-filled then we would all drive home in great anticipation of Rootbeer floats.

So when it is pre-digested I presume it is a bottle of vomit. Such fun!

A word of advice to ebay sellers...

Wow, that's nuts. I am far too lazy to post on multiple platforms so I just list in one place and if it sells fine then it is on the shelf and I ship it. I am a moral person so I would never lie to someone about the listing but to have someone pull a stunt like that should kill their E-bay...

TODAY DIG LARGE MILK GLASS JAR- BOWL- CUP-SPOON & AND ONE STRANGE BOTTLE

I found a bottle like the brown one in Indiana about 8 years ago. I wonder if it is not from a Vet and for administering meds.
