At the risk of sounding mean, doesnt that look like a tin can cut about 3/4 of the way around, the lid bent up and a hole drilled for hanging? Call it a poor man's cap catcher. LOL!
Nice looking! I'd like to do that with a bunch of my Coke bottles. My problem is finding caps of the right vintage at a decent price. Everyone thinks Coke is GOLD! I think full bottles would look sharp in a carton display. I really like that those Whistles are shorties!

What's the general opinion on this? I have a few straight sides that are cloudy enough to need the embossment painted. I resisted because of altering the bottle. One is special because it is a ss Coke from my hometown. If you paint, what color do you use? I know I could use any color. I suppose...
I'm hearing that March 22, 2013 will be the LAST auction to the bare walls. This came via the sister publication to Soda Spectrum. Sorry I don't know the name, Cola Conquest maybe?
I didn't go to last weeks auction but I thought the stuff at the back room store was rather pricey.
2 display...
Wow! Everyone has an opinion and a method. I like the plastic brush. Don't know if it is easier than shaking a granular/water solution. Which takes more effort? LOL. And no one has mentioned where to get either bottle brushes OR the plastic brush. Hope to find out soon!!

Looking for cartons to put the ACL bottles I have into.
Need 2 different Sprite cartons for 10 oz. bottle w/shield logo.
TaB carton for 7 oz. bottle
TaB carton w/brown and pink print
Teem carton. Any early variation 6 pack
ND/NR carton for short Coca-Cola diamond embossed w/hobbleskirt...
So risking that this will get moved or make someone mad for posting to the wrong forum...
Is there an easy way to get the dried crud off the inside of ACLs? I mostly mean the bottom inside. Do I need to invest in specialized brushes? Or what kind of brush do I need from the hardware store?
I...
Anyone heard of this company? I think the bottle I saw said Seminole Flavor (?) Co. and listed a Georgia address. I didn't buy the bottle, that is why I am being so vague. It has a diamond shaped logo. For some reason I automatically think Double Cola when I saw it. Ever see any cartons or other...
What's the story on the Nu Icy? I've seen it before and always thought it to be a Nu Grape product but, what did the Nu Icy bottle hold? Different flavors?
Has anyone heard of an updated edition of either Petretti's Soda Pop guide (last pub. 2003) or his Coca-Cola guide (2008). He used to put out the Coke one every 2 years. It has been 4 years now and it has been 11 years for the Soda Pop guide. I supposed he has been busy. I know he got canned...
I love cartons. Especially with the bottles. I only wish I had room to display more. I would think that this would be an inexpensive "go with" to collect.
Has there ever been any research done on the man? Creator of many soda flavorings. What did he look like? Any photos of the manufacturing facility? Just history of the company in general. Seems like a part of soda history lost. I have seen "some" info published like his role in Sundrop, Mil K...
Does anyone know of a fan site for TaB? I had one some time ago and deleted it cause I didn't use it much. I am wanting to compare TaB logos. I have some bottles with blue logo and white trim around letters. Looking to date them as there are no dates on the bottom.
Just the Chattanooga Glass...
Thank you so very much for all the answers. I really value the opinions posted. DUHmb ole me never thought about location! You see, my little town never had their own ACL bottled soda. By that I mean its own brand. I have Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, B1 and some embossed ones. Maybe if I travel I should...
WOW! So my best bet is ebay?? Ugh. More fun to see in person before buying. I know, that is where all the bottles are. Sure miss the old days when i'd find a half case at a yard sale!! Hoping to maybe find some next time I go to flea market.
BTW, to change the subject, but keep it similar...
