Has there ever been any research done on the man? Creator of many soda flavorings. What did he look like? Any photos of the manufacturing facility? Just history of the company in general. Seems like a part of soda history lost. I have seen "some" info published like his role in Sundrop, Mil K Bot'l, Mountain Dew and other early 1900s flavors.

Funny you should ask about J. F. Lazier. I just submitted an article about the company to Blair Matthews' Soda Spectrum magazine to be used in the next issue. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of J. F. Lazier himself; however, I do have a photo of his son Charles E. Lazier who is the actual Lazier involved with the creation of Sun Drop, Mil-K-Botl, amongst others. The Laziers didn't have anything to do with the creation of Mountain Dew aside from producing the syrup for Tri-City Beverage, and Mountain Dew possibly being an imitator of Sun Drop.
