    Lambert Pharmacals Co.

I've been back to the bottle pile. Probably 75 percent of the bottles are whiskey, from the 50's or 60's. Some are interesting, but I'm resisting bringing to many home... this bottle dump will keep me busy for a long long time. The only whiskey bottle I did bring home is an Old Quaker...

Thanks Paul, I think you hit the nail on the head. I brought home a 5 gallon bucket of bottles that I should have left alone. First dig. Thanks, mackle

    Lambert Pharmacals Co.

Digging in the old trash pile I found several bottles. this is a small Listerine bottle, embossed with the word LISTERINE and LAMBERT PHARMACALS CO. It also has the correct screw-on top with the initials LPC. Any comments?

Two barns burned to the ground long ago, leaving no signs of ever having existed. The only still standing structure is a cinder block pump house that...

    J&E MAHONEY, Portsmouth Va

Wow. I'm impressed. Your response took me to a Blog that included a picture and a wealth of information about the J&E Mahoney whisky distillers. Thanks. I'm trying to post a picture, from that blog, that is exactly like the bottle I found, except mine is in much nicer condition. Thanks a...

    J&E MAHONEY, Portsmouth Va

Forgive me folks. Know nothing about bottles, but walking an old rice field, never developed land near mouth of the Cape Fear River, I picked up this clear glass bottle (corked) marked J&E MAHONEY, Portsmouth, Alexandria, and Norfolk Va. About 6" tall, it has imperfections, bubbles in the...
