    I found this bottle in Halifax Harbour, Nova Scotia last week. It is dark green glass and about 12" tall. it looks like it is hand blown ( no seams ). Does any one know the approx age and what would have been in it, also there is a cork inside, is there a trick to remove it with out breaking...

    Hi , I found this codd bottle in Halifax Harbour NS on the weekend. It is embossed with DAVID PETERS and THRUMS on the front and RYLAND LO(?) and BARNSLEY on the back. Does any one know what was in it and a date

    Old Bottle neck

    It was not that cold the water temp was 7 deg C or 44deg F . we dive drysuits. Its actually the best time to dive in the harbour. the water is much clearer. It will get down to close to freezing in Feb/March

    I found a piece of pottery while diving last night and it is encrusted with barnacles and other sea stuff,, how would I go about cleaning it. Thanks!!!

    Some pop bottles I found

    Thanks, for the information!. We find most of these under the main bridges that go across the harbour. My guess is they were thrown over by workers. they are in 80-100ft of water. we are heading out tonight for another dive, ill post if I find any Peter
