looks to be post Civil War but pre-1880. Applied prescription type lip, stretch mark twisted neck, seam end well below top of shoulders, whittled arch panels, front and back, semi-crude embossing, uneven heel, smooth polished base. Any help would be appreciated on what this product was used for...
Greetings: Just located an 1880's era embossed BIM, E. Hedge // New York. Arched panels on front and back, sides are embossed , lip is applied and prescription type, Heel shows hinge mold marks, base is polished semi-smooth. Any Help would be appreciated, Thanks.
looks like you could spend a $20. on worse things. looks pretty crude from the pics. indented bottom w/ hinge mold marks on her base? what kind of lip, if u don't mind me asking>? Thanks
Hey Sam,
I am pretty sure that is the lip used from the 1870's era before Moxie was carbonated. It was a "health" syrup until it was carbonated in the early 1880's + or - a year here or there.

Hey nice pick-up for a 50. I have a BIMAL Fisher & Fairbanks, Boston, Mass. tall aqua bottle, about 17" with a big applied tapered lip. The front is embossed w/fancy initials, smooth base.
Has anyone dug or come across one of these to send along a little info my way. Thanks
