These are the bottles I dug the day before my birthday way back in january (better late than never [] ). The first one is just a R.Harisson 26 Oz Codd, nice to look at but the most common of the 26 ounce Codd's.
The second bottle however I've never seen before, it's a tiny bit over ten inches tall, four inches wide with a funny top almost like some of the goldfield's salard oils, it's an off white/cream colour (not pink [] ) I would date it to the mid 1850's .
Anyone seen one? I think it may have been a gin or some other spirits, most Aussies call all big stonies master ink's but I don't think thats what it is.
They were found in a creek near a mid 1850's bluestone hut with a lot of modern crap as a school is on the banks of the creek now.
Thank's to oz-riley for the photos [] .
Edit= problem with photos [] , will upload later.
