Hello,

I just got back from the Expo in Reno. I picked up a nice olive green Globe jar. It needs a lid. Let me know if you have one.

Good luck with that, its an amazing jar (pic plz) but even my Redbook 8 doesn't give a % value of the lid. It just says "Scarce color-Matching lids are seldom encountere" Is all the metal there?

Yes the metal closure is on the jar. I know a matching lid will be hard to find.

Killer jar Jerry!

Can you show a pic? The only olive or olive amber Globes I have seen have had a painted lid to match. As far as I know and what I have read no known lids in that color are known. I don't doubt that there could be some but just that none have surfaced that i'm aware of anyhow. I have also seen where owners put a nice light yellow lid on top that helps contrast the color. When I had my color run of Globes that was one color I always wanted but was never able to find. Nice score!

You might ask Greg too, he was on the lookout for a few certain lids for me when I had my collection.

That is a very unique color for that jar.....stunning.....I wish you luck on finding a lid...you may pay as much as you did for the jar...but wow...what a nice jar completed....
