I found this bottle in a dirt pile that had been excavated today. Many bubbles and swirls. It is 9" tall and about 2" in diameter. Is this junk? I can't find anything but an S.&M. Water company and that sounds kind of dirty anyways. Unfortunately it is quite scratched. I know that this is the "What is it thread" but I am new here. Not that it is an excuse. I have spent several years digging in logging dumps with my father, and found several nice dishes. Along with the clear bottle, I found a Lysol bottle with measuring marks and a nearly pristine Coke bottle from Jamestown ,NY. Also 7 Brookfield and Hemingray insulators

Also there are some neat swirls and bubbles at the opening.

Hi, in a 1925 book of bottlers I have "Soda & Mineral Water Co., 918 4th Ave (N.J Magnus)" Not sure what that means to you but that's what shows for Warren PA.

What that means to me is that I live at 709 5th Ave. and I know where that buiilding is/was. I will was to go to the public library and hit the reference room. Are bottles like this worth anything even when they are scratced up?
