First bottle find of 2014. The ground is still frozen but when I went to my bottle dump, this was sitting on the top of a dirt pile I had from last time I was there. From what I can tell, It is a BIM. The side seams fall short about 1/2 inch from the lip. The bottle is 3" tall. As seen from the pictures, it is wider at the top than bottom. I think it is an apothecary bottle and guessing on a date range of 1860 to 1910.There appears to be a pontil scar on the bottom. Please check out my pictures and correct me or add to what this could have been or held.Thank YouI will add a picture for of what looks like a pontil scar.
