I purchased a nice aqua colored soda bottle at an Estate sale for less than $5.00. I believe it is a "pony" style cork stopper.
It is embossed as follows. Any thoughts on if I am correct and the value are appreciated.

Line 1 J.A.LOMAX
Line 2 CHICAGO.
Line 3 ILL_

I'd guess it dates to around 1870's. I noticed anything & everything from Lomax Chicago seems pretty common. Even the Cobalt Blue Hutches which might be more common the the Detroit Norris Cobalt Hutch? I'd guestimate $30 but just a guess. LEON.

That would be a daymaker for me. Very nice pick for 5 bucks!

+1 Leon is correct. The blue Lomaxes are a great way to get into early cobalt for little $$, yet make nice additions to a collection.
