My favorite colors of older glass are the several variations of light amber. Honey, Yellow amber, Citron, Light Amber, or whatever you want to call it, these colors drive me crazy. Some folks get all shook up by green hues, but not me. Gimme honey.[:D]

It's a rather scarce local bottle from Sacramento, CA, embossed Dr. Mott's/Wild Cherry Tonic/A.H.Powers & Co. It dates from 1878/9 only. Powers was a Wholesale Liquor Dealer and proprietor of this largely alcoholic concoction. Here it is to the right of another local product, Cundurango Bitters, and to the left of an OP greenish Cathedral that I dug in '05.

Mike, what's that nice tan multi in the background of your first pic? It's a nice looking lawn ornament.[;)][:D]

It's a 60KV insulator that I salvaged from one of the lines that my crew reconstructed. Most of them went into the dumpster. I am not an insulator collector, despite my working for the power company for 33 yrs.

You're definately in the right neck of the woods for it. I'd like to come out there some day and hike some old lines. All the insulators made here were used out there. Alot of OLD high voltage lines out there. Nice mud. [:D]
