Howdy, curious if anyone out there can help identify this clear glass "DIXIE" bottle a relative found in the woods here in Eastern North Carolina decades ago. Appears to be 10oz so assumed a soda perhaps? Couldn't find a single one that resembled it when searching Google a bunch of different...
Found these two bottles today.
The Bolen & Byrne in situ:
Immediately after a quick rinse:
The bottle isn't perfect as it has a chipped lip but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The 5 Cent milk jug is marked "Store Bottle":
Later at home I noticed the Bolen & Byrne bottle had a date...
This was excavated in the 70s in Atlanta. I'm a student working on dating bottles from the collection it's in and making an online archive of them.
All I can really find is that it was bottled by Red Rock, you can see it on the mint ones listed online (2nd picture from ebay). But I can't find...
Hello all. I found this bottle yesterday washed up along the Delaware Bay in southern NJ. The bottle is labeled, but from searching online I can’t find any information on Smith’s Sodas. It has a good weight to it and has the markings “1228” and what may be a “G” in a square on the bottom...
I just got this 1968 10 ounce Mountain Dew Canadian version of the embossed Hillbilly bottle. This style with the Ya-hoo! / Hillbilly embossing was only made in 1968 and only in Canada. Its lettering is half French and half English. According to the Dick Bridgforth book, this is a common, but I...

This is a tooled-blob soda bottle from Auburn, NY. It features a star design in the center. A manufacture date of 1876 is embossed on the bottom along with the initials "A. C. W."
Excited to learn as much as possible about this bottle and get it listed in the near future, as well (probably eBay). This Amber Perry, FL Chero-Cola (6.5 Fl Oz) bottle was dug out of a privy in St. Joseph, MO by my dad and the late Antique Bottle connoisseur, Johnnie Fletcher, in May of 2000...
This is my first and only intact pontil soda bottle. It was made for Robinson, Charlesworth & Tryner of 376 Bowery, Manhattan NYC, some time between 1848-1853. I found it on short notice at low tide just before the sun set over the horizon one summer day in 2020. It has a rust ring in the pontil...
I am interested in picking up a few of the fancier decorative art deco soda bottles, but cannot find a list of examples/names/etc. I see pictures online of collections, but many too small to see a name. I assume there are a lot more than what show up on ebay, but have no source for them. Do...
