Found this bottle at my last visit to a large 40's/50's dump I've been hitting every so often, made by O-I dated either '45 or '55, same size as a 12 once "Packie"/"One Way" style bottle, clearly it would have had a paper label, after spending a few hours searching for one with label, the only one I found like it (an eBay listing) is missing it's label as well, just wondering what its contents would have been, being a crown top I'm guessing soda or juice of some sort, any one seen or have one like it?, picture of it alone, and a pic of it along side some Packie bottles. 20200906_115756.jpg20200906_120007.jpg20200906_115734.jpg

I think this bottle is a good example of so common they're overlooked and hard to find information about. I've pulled them out of 30's-50's farm dumps by the dozens. I too assume they're juice bottles.

This same style bottle?, or maybe you're thinking of the always plentiful lemon juice style, the one I posted about is the first for me.

Same shape, and Duraglas. Found a lot of them in Rome, IL. The homeowner kept everything so I doubt I'll dig there again, but I can take pictures when I visit again.

I have one similar to yours, but mine is more of a traditional shaped soda, yours looks like it has a shorter neck. The one I have is 8 oz. What size is yours? Mine dates to 1948.
