How lucky you are to have been able to finally get in there and dig, and knowing who used the stuff you found is the icing on the cake!!!

I have about 80% of this....but I love it. Notice the American Flag....just too cool.

Hey John,

Thanks for taking us along on this Semi-homecoming Dig. Wonderful Star and companion conies. That claw pipe too! More Star, please, with a side of Cones, and a dash of Redware.

Looking forward to the reconstructions. That chamber pot looks 99.8%.

great story, imagine that star just sitting there waiting for ya all that time!

I was thinking the same thing reading your post John. Like I always say "Chit is meant to happen"[:)]

It is weird enough when you get into a yard of some stranger and think "man I am the first one to touch this stuff after all these years".
I always get that feeling "its a meant to happen thing" But when I saw that your Grandfather and you lived in the house ! That multiples that feeling by a 1000!! very cool John very cool.

Ps DO NOT SELL THE STAR INK! you may get struck by lightning [8D]

Yaaay for you John! Glad you checked that spot! I really like that liberty pole/flag pitcher. What's that other creamer which appears to be intact, decorated????

Phil, No it wasnt decorated at all.....kind of wierd. Chris said it was a piece of Mocha.....just not decorated. Figures that the one that comes out completely whole isnt decorated. Here is a better pic.
