A.B.C.A. 10th Anniversary Bottle (Success to the Railroad) 1868 - 1888

Hey Yall, Bay area artist here, new to the site and to the hobby -Been a relic hunter for a few years and now the bottle bug has bit me bad.Its amazing once you are into something how things start finding you.I went to help a friend clear out her uncles barn and garage after he passed away(he was a major hoarder of things) and I found a 5ft bottle probe leaning against a wall...I got really excited and said "Have you found any old bottles? This guy was a digger!!!"She hadn't and so I went scouring to look in boxes - I shortly found 6 giant boxes with tightly packed/wrapped bottles and insulators...most still dirty (and from 1890s-1900s)She said I could have whatever I wanted so I spent the entire late night unrwrapping and sorting the ones I wanted.Lots of unmarked stuff I left, but took anything with embossing (I love being able to research the snake oil stuff)After 3 hours my head hurt...it was too much...I think it was adrenaline overdose. As soon as I clean em up (just got some good bottle brush tools) I'll post pics. Had one that he had in his house though and I'm stumped.One side says Success to the Railroad 1868 - 1888 and the other side says A.B.C.A. 10th Anniversary 1858 - 1868The pontil scar is sharp around edges. Anyone seen one of these? Any wisdom greatly appreciated.Thanks for looking and HH!-MicahMoore P.s. That would have to be the 10'th anniversary of the ABCA bottle club and I'm not sure what that is (maybe an old or current Jersey club from memory). My guess would be that the bottle is somewhere about 100 years later than those dates.

I believe A.B.C.A. is for Antique Bottle Collectors Association which was the original first bottle club organized in Sacramento, California in 1958. Anyway, I believe the dates are blurred on the bottle and should read: 1958 - 1968. I remember when these were made, at least that is what my memory is telling me. I'm hoping another collector can either confirm or refute this. The founder was John Tibbitts, author of several books back in the day and long time editor of the club newsletter which was named: Chips From The Pontil, again as my memory tells me.
