A bottle the kids found

After the kids saw my bottle and I told them what was posted on here about it they pulled out a suitcase they had filled with bottles from a glass dump they said was up on the hillside behind the house...I never knew they had them.... I guess bottle collecting hits at all ages...lol

Anyway, they asked me to go thru their bottles and see if any looked interesting.. All appeared to have screw on caps but this one. They asked me to post on it on here and see if anyone could tell them about their bottle.

no writing on the bottle, just a number 5 and a symbol on the bottom.

It was filled with a black substance that had turned to a thick tar substance...and it was stinky!!!

These are pretty common I dont know what they held and I think they are from the 50s-60s hope this helps ya
