The falls in pawtuxett just before it enters the salt water of the Providence river....they plan on removing the dam later this year to bring the river back to the flow it had in the pre 1900's allowing fish back up river...they will temp dam one side of river to remove old dam when it dries then the same process on the other side still keeping one half of the river flowing at all times...my point being cant wait to see and dig when the sections are "dried out " what may be underneith?

What a great spot to explore and it probably has great potential for bottles! Best of luck if you get the chance...Cool post.

Thanks so much for the pics of the Crandall house, very interesting that one of my ancestors built that so long ago, I wonder how much of it is original. I wouldn't t think there would have been anything except log cabins that long ago.
