A Kline Pickel swirled Top and green improved mason?

I picked up a couple of improved masons, green, I believe. There is a pint and a half pint. one with glass lid, one without. [/align]First questions: are they Green or just another variant of aqua?[/align]Both jars have the CJ embossment and the smaller one says May 3rd 1871 on the top of the glass top. The bigger of the two has and I.236 on the bottom. The smaller of the two has a d82 on the bottom. [/align]2nd question: Anyone know if they are listed?[/align] [/align]I also found a pickle top that says A. Kline / pat / oct. 27, 1863. The top notch says use / pin[/align]It is an aqua with wicked amber swirls throughout it.[/align] [/align]3rd question. Hey Joel, I'd say the jars are aqua. The picke jar tope came off a Kline Pickel jar.[]

I think you'll need a RB. The jars seem to be unmarked so you'll need info like size, threaded, ramps? my guess is 1425

Thanks Cap, I was looking more for a red book number or othernomenclature so I could either, attempt to find the bottle or find someone looking for the top.

It has nice amber swirls to it so it must be a nice pickel it went with.

Patented in 1863, the Kline Stopper remained popular through the 1870s. A gasket sealed the jar between the solid glass stopper and the inside of the jar mouth. As the jar cooled a vacuum formed, pulling the stopper into the mouth of the jar. Needless to say, this system proved frustrating when it came to pulling out the stopper. Adam R. Samuel, at his Keystone Glass Works in Philadelphia, manufactured many of the jars employing the Kline patent.
