Yesterday my diggin partners and I was excavating a major dump site. The keeper pile was huge, mostly common embossed meds, some was not so common.
9 Hostetter's bitters
2 Kilmer's swamp root cures
3 sample whiskeys (amber)
The good stuff is pretty deep and takes alot of work to move all the dirt and newer glass. In my section of dump I recoverd this crock jug about 3 feet down, thought noway it was going to be whole. It is in perfect shape[] It has blue-white-blue rings top and bottom. What do you think it originally held? I feel the age was probably early 1900's.
