a sad day for collectors

Today is a very sad day for soda bottle collectors. The only province in canada that still sells painted label pop bottles has lifted the ban on cans. there will be no glass soda bottles ever made in pei again starting in 2008. [] they still sell coke and pepsi and all their products in painted labels over here but all that has come to an end......

do you have any pictures? i'm curiuos as to what the labling looks like. is it similar to the cans or are they using older botttles?

Here's a pic of some paper label bottles. you can buy painted ones in cases of 12. the paintedc labeled ones look cool but i couldnt find any pics. Do you think they'd sell on ebay?

oh and to anser bubba's question, some of them look new and some of them look like their from about 1980's. there is also a cross between type thing ( a 355ml painted labeled coke)
