I had a chance to get back out to my home town over the weekend, and took my boy for a walk in the woods. Spotted this crystal clean, never buried local hutch in the leaf litter...
While I was out I went looking for a little mustard jar I remember finding a few years ago that I saw in this month's issue of ABGC magazine, Excelsior Mustard Mills. I had it on a rack on the roof of a shed, and the sun had really done a number on it. Also on the rack was a Passaic NJ blob top I had forgotten about, also now slightly sun colored. Here they are with the Fred Barth hutch from the first post.
and finally, my mom had found a little plate at the town dump goodie pile that she grabbed as a snack plate for my boy. Turns out it was an 1840s ABC Staffordshire. A weekend full of scores!
