Giddy up Mailman;Sounds like the making of a Country song. Couldn't find much about the Columbus beer. The White Rose I only found out of Philadelphia.
Had go through 2-3 ft. of branches and nasty mud in two feet of water. Then feel around with my feet, till it slides off what I hope is a bottle and not a rock, then kick it into a net. They were all found with in15 feet of each other..That pictorial Hutchinson with the bear is great, definitely worth more than a typical Chicago hutch and your pair of pigs is very nice too. Did you find everything in your pictures in just 1 dig?

Nice bottles, I love the hutch with the bear.

No currents going to wash away this stuff you need a pitchfork and just start wiggling your way down through the stuff and kicking away everything till you hit the bottom of the river bed. I don't have to pay $45 a month for a health club membership.Wow that's some dedication, you clearly earned those bottles! With luck a nice gullywasher thunderstorm will blast through the area next spring and wash away a bunch of that muck for you. There were a few creek dumps I dug where I'd pile up logs and big rocks to concentrate and channel storm water toward the areas I was working to wash away tailings and help expose deeper layers at or below the water level. It worked really well, I'd always look forward to going back to inspect the area and check the creekbed downstream for marbles and smalls from the washed-out tailings after a nice thunderstorm.
