I have this bottle in my collection and mine is from 1939. It is a very nice looking bottle, iv always liked the amber 7ups :)
Correction my bottle is marked 1935. I had to go back and check to make sure I was right and I was wrong, its even earlier.

That is awesome, I think mine is a 5 for 1935, but it is hard to tell.

Bob-

That's crazy. 500 is a pretty huge number. Congrats. I have only been collecting for around a year and a half, and have gotten almost 150 acls. It's a really fun hobby and am happy I got into it.

Bob let me know if you got any 35' or 36' acl 7-ups You would like me to relocate to Kentucky for a good home at reasonable moving costs lol. Brad

I had been watching this 1936 amber San Diego 7up bottle on eBay but didn't mention it earlier because I did not want to draw attention to it in case a member was bidding. It received two bids and sold for $142.50, which I'd say is about right based on it's condition. It also had an original seal cap, which I have never seen before but thought was pretty cool. I didn't bid on it myself because I'm hoping to eventually find one locally, and possibly even dig one if I can find the right dump. I've seen lots of broken shards over the years but never a fully intact bottle. Here's the eBay link and a few pictures ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Amber-7UP-w-Cap-Star-Beverage-Co-San-Diego-California-/361292773955?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=UOWS7RyeA9ZTqGs2UFsd7qmsHlA%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Yeah, weird. But its there like you said. Just scroll down. I just recently got 3 common 7ups to add to my collection. But I still don't have an amber one. I think I just surpassed 100 7up bottles.

Yea Bob I was watching that amber 7up too, he was wanting more the last time he listed it. I have bought a couple bottles from him he is from Kentucky. I hate it when the ACL's are bad. I'll probably never find one of those in good shape without breaking the bank. lol
