I wish I wasn't to late finding it! I'd have loved to put this in my meager collection.
EBAY
It seams odd to me that such odd combination's of manufactures should sell so cheap. I just don't see ground top, embossed med bottles very often.
It would have gone great with the other I do have.
I guess there are more than I thought though.

The Fraser bottles show up every so often. You shouldnt have too much trouble finding one if you keep an eye out for them.
They also come in a dark amethyst color which is a bit harder to find.

Those are awesome and yes, the picture is carp, but thank you for it.[:)][:)]
Now I have to decide whether these, the Monell and the Aussie bottle I've seen should be classified as Patent med or apothecary bottles. They are growing in numbers for small, embossed ground tops with clarification on contents.
What do you think?

I dont think the Fraser was a patent medicine, I think they were wholesale chemical bottles.
Like I said they show up every so often. Not rare.

Ryan, what's that very nice looking small master ink in that photo?

I'd like some more input Matt. I'm trying to decide with these and the Monell Pain Destroyer whether they are PAT med or apothecary or where the difference is.
Here's what the label said I guess is on the Frazer.
"Label reads Calomel 1-10 gr. Wintergreen Flavored One every hour untill the bowels move or until 10 have been taken for bilousness, headache and congestion. The Fraser Tablet Co., 262 Fifth Ave., N.Y. "
Are they very small pills meant to dispense? Maybe the were sold in this bulk?
What are your thoughts?

I would consider the Monell bottle a proprietary medicine (some would call it a patent medicine although I'm not certain they patented it).

The Fraser products seem to be more transitional where patent medicines were starting to morph into the phamaceutical companies we know and love today. Most of their products seemed to be fairly generic drugs with all the ingredients listed. Basically a manufacturing company supplying pharmacies like they do today.
Not to say all their products were on the up and up.
They might have made some homeopathic or traditional medicines to boot but I havent seen evidence of that.
