I came on this forum to do a little research on this bottle . Found it under some floorboards in the attic of an old house . There was a bunch of railroad brochures and schedules on top of it all dated 1896 . So can only assume bottle is same . There was also an old painting under all that stuff that i kept . ( Sold the railroad stuff on Ebay ) .
But anyway i`ve learned its an ok bottle that will look good sitting by a window because of a purple tint it wiil give off ...... So thats where im gonna stick it ......
I`m not a bottle collector , but if i come across an old one i like it goes on a shelf with another odds and ends i find when working on old houses ................... thanks andrew .

Its later than I thought. Probably around 1900 maybe a little later.
