Having an awful large sense of humor myself I applaud your bravery Leon.

If you know Detroit (a.k.a. Murder City) it's not really a place you should venture alone. But I do it anyways. LEON.

Not me but without the lid I probably would have left it too. [:)]

I think I seen the lid near by. Would it be worth more with the lid? LEON.

Red Book lists the lid at 40-50 percent of the value for this tough variation of Country Crock.

OK, Due to the popular demand & overwhelming interest in that Country Crock I just had to go back for it. I risked my life for it. It was still there, I grabbed it, but was totally dissapointed to not see the lid nearby. I must of crawled around under there for a hour with flashlight searching for that dang lid, but no Luck. Dissapointed, I had a descision to make, Should I take it without the lid. Then I noticed some mice or something chewed holes in the bottom. That was the straw that broke the camels back so in total digust I left that Country Crock behind. Did I just make another mistake I may reget? What would you of done? LEON. P.S. Rare plus Calcium variation.

If some of the original ingredients remained in the crock then the value goes up substantially. If the container was used to store something else and you can tell what it was, then value comes down. (Unless it was used oil from fried chicken, that could increase the value in my opinion.) just saying
