Hi everyone!
I just found this brown poison bottle at a consignment shop for a few bucks. I did some research and found a bottle that looks the exact same but that one has a label - mine doesn't. :( That's why I think it's a poison bottle. The one with the label is on eBay and at the moment is $50 bucks. Mine has "PAT APR 1 1889" and "WT CO" on the bottom.
Does anyone think I could get an okay amount of money for it on eBay although it doesn't have the label? Any input would help!
Thanks! Alicia

Hi Alicia
I consider apothecary bottles poisons since most of them contained poisonous chemicals.
W.T. CO stands for Whitall-Tatum & Co. This company was situated in Millville NJ and in buisiness from around 1857 to 1935. Do you have the stopper to go with your bottle? It might raise the value a bit.
The bottle on eBay may be a label under glass version which is much more collectable than the unlabeled pieces.

No, unfortunately the stopper wasn't in the box or with the bottle. :(
But thanks for the information!! It's really interesting!!
I might just put it on eBay and see how it goes.... ?? Not sure yet!
