Antique SEEMAN BROS Oil Bottle

Has anyone seen this bottle before?

Here is this Antique SEEMAN BROS Oil Bottle. Featured on the front it says... "SUPERIOR / Sewing Machine / OIL / HAS NO EQUAL IN THE / WORLD / Manufactured by / SEEMAN BROS / NEW YORK" (rare to find a bottle with the original label still intact). Embossed on the back it says... A PLACCE / PHARMACIST / 3RD AVE COR 101 ST ST / NEW YORK. There is an embossed logo (A with an interlocking P) on the left-hand side. Embossed on the bottom, it says... W.T. & CO / C / U.S.A. - This bottle was an attic find... Still has its cork, and contains some oil. Measures approx. 5 inches tall.

My Wife collects sewing machine oil bottles, particularly labeled examples, and we have not seen this one. I suspect the bottle may have been repurposed or the Pharmasist sold the oil in his store.

I'm interested if it's available.

i have seen seeman sewing oil bottles with seeman embossed right on the bottle. this is a druggist bottle stolen and reused.

Well Seeman & Sperm oil are kind one in the same your doing good man lol

I think they probably sold it at the druggists. I have a similar druggist bottle thats embossed. On the pharmacy label they wrote "Sperm Oil". Interesting that they sold all manner of things in these bottles
